Spaceship, the Australian investing app, is thrilled to announce the launch of two new Spaceship Voyager portfolios: the Spaceship Explorer Portfolio and the Spaceship Galaxy Portfolio.
Spaceship Voyager is an easy-to-understand micro-investing product offering five portfolios, with no minimum investment requirements. While its original portfolios – the Spaceship Universe, Spaceship Earth and Spaceship Origin portfolios — generally cater to investors with very high risk/return profiles, the two new Spaceship Voyager portfolios cater to investors who are seeking shorter timeframes and medium-to-lower risk — ensuring there are now Spaceship Voyager options for different types of investors.

The Spaceship Explorer Portfolio has a mix of defensive assets, such as bonds and cash, as well as some exposure to the sharemarket for growth. It is a low-to-medium risk portfolio targeting conservative returns, with a suggested minimum investment timeframe of three years. This portfolio may be good for investors who are looking for modest returns over a shorter time horizon.
The Spaceship Galaxy Portfolio has companies that meet Spaceship's Where the World is Going criteria, diversified with bonds and cash assets. It is a balanced portfolio targeting medium-level returns, with a suggested minimum investment timeframe of five years. This portfolio may be good for investors who have a medium risk profile.
