From 1 June 2024:

We're changing the fees that apply to the Spaceship Origin Portfolio (ARSN 623 312 087), the Spaceship Universe Portfolio (ARSN 623 321 022), and the Spaceship Earth Portfolio (ARSN 643 773 282) (each a Portfolio and together Spaceship Voyager). 

We're also changing the fees that apply to the Spaceship US Investing Service (US Investing).

All $ references are to Australian dollars.

The new fee structure

Spaceship Voyager

We're increasing the monthly fee for Spaceship Voyager from $2 to $3.

You will continue only to be charged this fee when you have at least one Spaceship Voyager Portfolio with a balance of $100 or more. You will continue only to pay the monthly fee once, no matter how many Spaceship Voyager Portfolios you have.

The monthly fee is deducted by redeeming units from your primary Portfolio (which can be updated in the Spaceship app). Refer to the Reference Guide for more information. 

The percentage-based management fees for Spaceship Voyager Portfolios are not changing.

US Investing

The monthly fee for US Investing customers is decreasing from $2 to $0 in any month where you've paid the Spaceship Voyager monthly fee within the last month.

Otherwise, the US Investing monthly fee remains at $4.

The foreign exchange fee of 0.70% per trade is not changing.

All fees and costs are inclusive of GST and net of expected reduced input tax credits.

Why we're changing our fees

Spaceship Voyager

We're launching two new Spaceship Voyager Portfolios in the next few weeks: the Spaceship Galaxy Portfolio and the Spaceship Explorer Portfolio (which will be offered individually through the Spaceship Master Fund (ARSN 675 559 261)).

With the launch of the two new professionally-managed Portfolios, we're expanding your potential investment opportunities and diversification options. This expansion reflects an enhanced value proposition for Spaceship Voyager, which is why we're adjusting the monthly fee. Regardless, you'll still only pay one Spaceship Voyager monthly fee — whether you have one portfolio, two, or all five!

US Investing

We're excited to see so many Spaceship Voyager customers expanding their investments with additional Spaceship products! To show our appreciation for your continued trust, we're lowering the cost of our US Investing service for Spaceship Voyager customers.

If you've already paid the Spaceship Voyager monthly fee in the last month, you won't need to pay the US Investing monthly fee for that month. We want to make sure you get the most out of your investment with us.

What do I need to do?

You don’t need to do anything. Where eligible, these changes will automatically be applied to your Spaceship account from 1 June 2024.
